# Settlements, balances and terminals

## Settlements

Access: **Bank > Mollie > Settlements**

Settlements represent the grouped transfers Mollie makes to your bank account. Each settlement groups the payments received, the refunds made, the chargebacks and the Mollie fees over a given period.

### Settlement list

- **Mollie ID** (`stl_xxxx`)
- **Net amount** transferred
- **Currency**
- **Covered period** (start date / end date)
- **Status**
- **Creation date**

**Available actions:**

- **Synchronize** - Fetches settlements from the Mollie API

### Settlement statuses

| Status | Description |
|--------|-------------|
| Open | Settlement being built |
| Pending | Settlement closed, awaiting transfer |
| Paid out | Transfer made to your account |
| Failed | The transfer failed |

### Settlement card

The detail card displays:

- Amount and currency
- Covered period
- Amount breakdown (payments, refunds, chargebacks, fees)
- Status

**Available actions:**

- **Refresh from Mollie** - Updates the information
- **Fetch the open settlement** - Fetches the current settlement (not yet closed)
- **Fetch the next settlement** - Fetches the next scheduled settlement

### Sub-tabs

The settlement card has sub-tabs to view the details:

- **Card** - General information
- **Payments** - List of payments included in this settlement
- **Refunds** - Refunds deducted
- **Chargebacks** - Chargebacks deducted
- **Captures** - Associated captures

## Balances

Access: **Bank > Mollie > Balances**

Balances display the state of your funds at Mollie in real time.

### Balance list

- **Mollie ID** of the balance
- **Available amount** - Funds available for transfer
- **Pending amount** - Funds being processed
- **Currency**

**Available actions:**

- **Synchronize** - Fetches the current balances from Mollie

### Balance card

Displays the balance details:

- Available and pending amounts
- Currency
- Transfer settings:
  - Transfer frequency
  - Trigger threshold
  - Transfer reference

**Available actions:**

- **Refresh from Mollie** - Updates the information

> Balances are read-only. Transfer configuration is done in the Mollie dashboard.

## Terminals

Access: **Bank > Mollie > Terminals**

Terminals represent the physical payment terminals (POS) connected to your Mollie account.

### Terminal list

- **Mollie ID** (`term_xxxx`)
- **Brand** and **model** of the terminal
- **Serial number**
- **Description**
- Associated **profile**
- **Status**

**Available actions:**

- **Synchronize** - Fetches the terminal list from Mollie

### Terminal card

Displays the terminal details:

- Brand, model, serial number
- Description
- ID of the associated profile
- Creation and update dates

**Available actions:**

- **Refresh from Mollie** - Updates the information

> Terminals are read-only. Terminal management is done from the Mollie dashboard or via the Mollie Terminal app.
